Please note: In accordance with EU Directive 2010/64 the terms “interpreter” and “translator” are used to refer to professional interpreters and translators working for courts, government agencies and other official bodies.

Please consult the members database when looking for legal interpreters/translator and contact her/him directly. 

Please note: Take advantage of selecting legal interpreters/translators directly from the members database, since for organisational reasons, the secretariat does not accept inquiries for interpreting or translation services. A printed version of the members directory is also available for download.

Members are listed in the alphabetical order of the languages (in German) they are certified for. Click on the language needed, and a randomized list of legal interpreters/translators will appear. Further selection by Austrian provinces is also possible.
